** Argentine Model 1927 Pistol in Box, Police Issue Marked

.45 ACP. 5" barrel length. SN: 52843. Blued metal arsenal refinish with replaced brown synthetic grips. Single action short recoil operated autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. The left slide shows the manufacturer markings D.G.F.M.-(F.M.A.P.), while the right features Argentinian police marks reading MINISTERIO DEL INTERIOR/POLICIA de los TERRITORIOS NACIONALES/SIST. COLT CAL. 11.25 mm MOD. 1927. The serial numbers on the barrel, frame, and slide match. Frame further struck with inventory number 0412-949. Importer marking on the right frame beneath the grips reads .45 CAL. ARG./SPR SPTR PN RN PA. Item comes with one COLT/45 AUTO marked magazine and a cardboard box with the lid label appearing to be printed rather than stamped with the manufacturer markings. The left grip panel is hollow backed, while the right panel has reinforcing ribs.

Condition Report

Good. Bore is Frosty with crisp rifling throughout and a brown patina forming. The metal finish shows wear overall with some light pitting and nicks along the slide, and some weakness to the edges of the markings suggesting the item was likely arsenal refinished. Finish further shows wear and brown patina forming along the gripstraps with gray to brown patina appearing overall. The grips have some light handling mars and scratches. Box shows some peeling to the corners.
