Semi-automatic magazine fed short stroke gas piston rifle with elevating ladder rear sight graduated to 1200 meters and a hooded front sight. Left side of chamber marked G43 and ac/44. Matching serial numbers are present on the receiver and bolt, with no other external numbers noted. Bolt and receiver with E/359 inspection marks. The rifle is missing the handguard, front barrel band and cleaning rod and the upper rear edge of the buttplate is worn through with the trapdoor repaired. Rifle is accompanied by a G43 marked, aye code, WaA/B43 inspected magazine. No import marks were noted on the gun.
