Lot Description
*Factory Class B Engraved Smith & Wesson Model 19-4 Revolver in Box
.357 Magnum. 2.5" barrel length. SN: 26K9206. Nickel plated finish overall, matte topstrap and barrel rib, color case hardened trigger and hammer, and mounting smooth walnut Smith & Wesson medallion grips. Double action six-shot hand ejector revolver mounting adjustable rear notch and Baughman Quick Draw matted front ramp sights. Item features Class-B foliate scroll engraving to each component with further wiggle line scroll enclosing the hammer, and floral scroll enclosing the make and model markings. Item shows the Smith & Wesson monogram trademark on the left frame, SMITH & WESSON on the left barrel and S.&W. 357 MAGNUM on the right barrel. Right frame shows the four-line address marking. Comes in an unmarked pale blue Smith & Wesson marked cardboard box with the owner's manual with inserts and a cleaning kit.

Condition Report
Good. Bore is dirty with some residues that should clean to Very Bright or better with crisp rifling. Metal finish displays a light turn ring to the cylinder and vibrant case colors to small parts. Traces of oxidation forming in the knurling to hammer, on the forward corner of the butt, and in the engraving behind the latch. Further traces of patina forming within the cylinder stops. Grips are Excellent and without handling mars or wear. Action exhibits good timing. Cardboard box shows some flaking to the edges.
