Early American NCO Sword
American Revolution-War of 1812
28.5" straight, single-edged spear point blade with narrow fuller along the spine. Overall length 34.125", blade 1.1" wide at ricasso. 5.5" bird's head pommel with iron backstrap, simple knuckle bow and a nominally 2.75" double oval disc guard with forward swept disc quillon. Smooth wood grip, unmarked, no scabbard.
