**Guardia Civil Marked Star Model 1922 Pistol with Two Matching Magazines
.38 ACP. 5" barrel length. SN: 24526. Blued metal refinish with polished chamber mounting checkered black synthetic STAR/TRADE MARK logo grips. Short-recoil operated single action autoloading pistol fed by detachable magazines. Left slide shows manufacturer marking BONIFACIO ECHEVERRIA/EIBAR <ESPANA> followed by <STAR> and logo. The 38 mark below the original CAL. 9 M/M, indicating it was converted to use .38 ACP ammunition for export. Left slide struck with the {Crown}/Intertwined GC, indicating it was previously issued to the Guardia Civil. Serial number within the 1-69,986 range for items produced for the Spanish Guardia. Includes a total of two nickel plated magazines with serial numbers matching the handgun, and both showing the Guardia Civil mark on floorplates. Export mark to left frame reads MADE IN/SPAIN.
