Simple blowback operated striker action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines featuring low profile front blade and rear notch sights in a channel to the top of the slide. Standard markings to the left slide read COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A./PAT'D AUG. 25 1896 APR. 20 1897 DEC. 22 1903 JAN. 25 1910 with right slide marked COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 25. Left triggerguard web struck by Colt's VP monogram proof. Comes in a matching cardboard box with half of the end label intact, and with Colt's medallion ivory grips advert to the interior box. Included with the pistol are the owner's manual, and a soft leather outside waistband holster.
