[CIVIL WAR - PHOTOGRAPHY] Quarter plate daguerreotype of an unidentified colonel. [Ca 1840s-50s]. 

Quarter plate daguerreotype portrait of a distinguished Mexican War-era full bird colonel wearing a double breasted frock coat with tall collar. (Tarnishing to edges, with minor spotting and other plate imperfections; unsealed.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case (general wear).
