Civil War-period brass cap ventilator and enlisted Hardee hat eagle.
1 3/8 in. diam. brass cap ventilator (shows some darkening and wear to tips of outer prongs). These devices were used in Civil War-period headgear.
[With:] 1 5/8 x 2 1/2 in. brass Hardee hat eagle with 3 fastening loops attached on verso (shows a bit of darkening, else fine).
