Lot Description
Civil War US Regulation bugle with original cavalry cords. Manufactured by Horstmann, Philadelphia, PA.
15 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 5 1/2 in. bugle comprised of a copper body with brass floating rim and connectors (dark patina, few minor dents, some flattening of the main flared tube, and bending of the floating rim). Flare stamped with block letters “Horstmann” in an arc above “Phila.” Adorned with original regulation yellow cavalry bugle cords.
