5 x 2 1/8 in. colonel of artillery straps (bullion darkened with exposure, some loss to velvet, some loss/detachment to extreme outer edge borders). Straps feature quadruple bullion borders, silver embroidered eagles, red velvet centers, and added cotton backing patches. 

Borders made using pattern of 2 dull and one bright alternating gold strands. Added polished cotton backing patches indicate the eagles would have been embroidered onto the straps at the time the officer purchased them. Superior quality.
