WILLIAMS, Otho Holland (1749-1794). Partly printed indenture signed ("O.H. Williams"). Baltimore, MD, April 1788. 1 page, visible 15 7/8 x 12 1/2 in. framed, not examined out of frame, some spotting, apparent neat tissue repair.
[With:] ELY, Justin (1739-1817). Note signed ("Justin Ely"). N.p., 3 August [1765]. With two letters to Mr. Ely, dated 15 and 17 August 1765. Ely was a Harvard graduate, prominent merchant, and original proprietor of the Connecticut Western Reserve in Ohio, under the Connecticut Land Company. -- WYLLYS, George (1710-1796). Autograph document signed ("George Wyllys), as
Secretary of State of Connecticut. Hartford, CT, [9] May 1776. -- VAN MATER, Jacob. Autograph document signed ("Jacob Vanmater"). N.p., 5 July 1782. One of the Illinois Sons of Liberty, Revolutionary War veteran, and constructed the first fort in Kentucky. -- BAKER, Joseph (1748-1804). Autograph document signed ("Joseph Baker"), a Town-Clerk. Brooklyn, 8 May 1793. -- [CRAWFORD, William (1745-1833)]. A group of 27 manuscript receipts to Captain Crawford. Massachusetts, 1775-1799. Various places in Massachusetts include Rutland, Worcester, Oakham, Hardwick, and New Braintree. -- CHAPMAN, John. Autograph document. [Massachusetts?], n.d.
