Together, over 200 issues of New Orleans newspapers. Condition varies, most appear to be complete issues, some missing leaves, toning, chipping, occasional tears. From the 1840s and 1850s with extensive coverage of the Mexican War and domestic affairs. Some issues include runaway slave advertisements and notices of enslaved individuals sold at auction.
