Bolt-action repeating rifle fed by 10 round internal magazine and featuring a Parker Hale PH5E4 rear aperture sight. The rifle features sling swivels on the toe of the stock, the lower barrel band, and forward of the magazine. Barrel retains the bayonet lugs, and mounts a leather sling marked ALFD J. PARKER/BIRMINGHAM. The left receiver is marked B 55 FTR below a weakend model marking of No. 4 Mk 1 / 2. The right side of the receiver is dated 1955. The right muzzle is struck with commercial proof markings, and the front sight mounts a Parker Hale marked pressed steel sight cover. The major components show British military inspection marks including the {Broad Arrow} marking. The initial N is struck into the rear comb. Forend and bolt serial numbers matches the receiver, but the magazine serial number is one digit off.
