[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. Quarter plate period copy daguerreotype of train wreck. 

Quarter plate copy  daguerreotype. (Surface scratches, wiping.) Housed in brass mat and frame with glass (oxidation to mat).

A derailed boxcar in front of several buildings. Figures are in the foreground involved in the cleanup.
