Broadside features train schedule and rates, and entices readers with various Chicago attractions and events, including "The Great Base Ball Game, Chicago vs. Cleveland." -- Once More Don't Miss This Chance! Popular Cheap Excursion to Chicago and Return! Indianapolis, IN: Wm. B. Burford, 1897. Broadside includes train schedule and rates, and entreats readers to "spend a delightful day in the Beautiful 'White City,'" listing several places to visit including the Field Columbian Museum, Ferris Wheel, Coliseum, Libby Prison, and more. -- Together, 2 broadsides, each approx. 6 x 19 in. Conditions generally fair, with discoloration and some chipping to edges and corners.
William B. Burford served in the Civil War and took over his father's printing business, which eventually held the printing contract for the state of Indiana.
