The World's Congress Auxiliary of the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893...Department of Woman's Progress. Chicago: N.p., 1893. 8vo. Original wrappers (minor soil, short marginal tear). FIRST EDITION of a pamphlet reporting from the week-long convention held during the Chicago World's Fair. During the week, 81 meetings were held with speeches given by nearly 500 women from 27 countries and attended by over 150,000 visitors. Many notable women attended the Congress including Jane Addams, Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Auguste Förster. RARE: OCLC locates only 2 copies, at the University of Illinois at Chicago Library and the Chicago History Museum.
