Sixth plate copy ruby ambrotype of a young private holding his edged weapon upward. (Soft focus, spots of image loss/wear to edges; unsealed.) Housed in a half pressed paper case. -- Ninth plate ambrotype of an unknown federal artilleryman wearing regulation shell jacket with brass shoulder scales and red-tinted collar trim. Housed in a pressed paper case (surface wear). -- And 2 others including a loose sixth plate tintype of a private wearing a sack coat and western slouch hat, and a sixth plate tintype of a Spanish American War-era sergeant in a sack coat and campaign hat with sword housed in a Union case with patriotic motiff. -- Together, 5 ambrotypes and tintypes of soldiers.
