Sixth plate seated portrait of a young man with long, styled hair, holding a book open with one hand. (Scratches, spots, and some clouding to plate, with light tarnishing to edges; no preserver present, resealed.) Housed in pressed paper case (surface wear). Accompanied by inscribed paper label identifying the subject as Charles F. Wyman. -- Quarter plate bust portrait of a young woman with hair arranged in a braided bun. (Scratches to surface and light tarnishing to edges; no preserver present, resealed.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case (split at spine, heavy surface wear). Accompanied by inscribed paper label identifying the subject as Maria Wyman (Heard). -- Sixth plate portrait of two children seated next to one another on a bench. (Heavy scratching, clouding, and deterioration to plate, with some tarnishing to edges; no preserver present, resealed.) Housed in a pressed paper case (surface wear). Accompanied by inscribed paper label identifying one of the subjects as Helen K. Bullard. Plate is also etched "W.R. Bullard" -- And 3 others including 2 quarter plate portraits, one of a young lady identified as Caroline E. Wyman, and one sixth plate portrait of a young child identified as Helen Knight Bullard Wyman. -- Together, 6 daguerreotypes of children and young adults.
The 1900 Federal Census lists a Charles Francis Wyman (ca 1836-1906) married to Helen K. Bullard Wyman (ca 1845-1907), living in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
