Lot Description
Lot of 4 Belt Plates Including: US M1874 Sword Belt Plate, US M1851 Post-1872 Eagle Belt Plate, Stamped Brass Eagle HSC Belt Plate & Brass Eagle Hat Device
1) US Model 1874 Sword Belt Plate - Silvered cast brass rectangular Eagle motif belt plate measuring nominally 2.93" x 2.04" with a brass wire loop on the rear face and a 1.77" wide x .58" long tongue. 

2) US Model 1851 Belt Plate (post-1872) - Cast brass rectangular Eagle motif belt plate measuring nominally 3.3" x 2.05" with a .45" wide and .81" long tongue.

3) Stamped Brass Eagle HSC Belt Plate - Die stamped rectangular Eagle motif plate measuring nominally 3" x 2.13". Fixed wire loop on rear, with 1.69" wide by .47" long tongue. Likely a military school or cadet belt plate.

4) Gilt Eagle Hat Device - Stamped brass with soldered brass wires on rear. Nominally 3" wide by 2" tall.
Condition Report
1) Very good with some silver plate intact, primarily on the rear face.
2) Very good with an untouched patina.
3) Very good with a rich, untouched patina.
4) Fine with some gilt remaining.
