Lot Description
** Winchester Model 1906 Rifle
.22 S/L/LR. 20" barrel length. SN: 741280. Reblued metal finish overall with flat wrist walnut stock and corncob action handle. Slide-action repeating takedown rifle fed by a tube magazine located beneath the barrel. Markings to the barrel include MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN./CONN. U.S.A. PAT. JUNE 26. 88. DEC. 6. 92. NOV. 27. 06. MAY 30 1911. -MOD. 06-. The rifle additionally shows the Winchester proof mark on the rear barrel and trademark to the upper tang.

Condition Report
Good as Refinished. Bore is Frosty with strong rifling throughout and a ring three to four inches back from the muzzle. The reblued finish shows some scratches and mars overall with a flecked brown patina forming on the upper barrel near the breech. Further spots of brown patina forming on the tang. The outer edges of the metal components are rounded from buffing. Wood furniture shows dark discolored spots, handling wear, mars, and dings. The upper magazine band has broken off with only the material filling the dovetail cut remaining.
