** Winchester Model 1892 Rifle

.25-20 WCF. 24" octagonal barrel length. SN: 233466 (Mfg. ca.1903). Blued metal finish. Two piece walnut stock has a plain straight grip and forearm. Lever action rifle with adjustable buckhorn rear sight and brass blade front sight. Item features a full tube magazine and blued steel forend cap. Aside from Winchester manufacturer marks, bottom of frame is marked 4 to left side and 22 to right side, straddling lever.

Condition Report

Very good to fine. Bore is bright. Finish is strong overall, with scattered scratches and pitting. Wood stock shows some light scratches and a few mars, with crazing to buttstock. Forearm is slightly loose, and there is a small loss to left side where wood meets upper tang. Action is functional.
