Swiss M/41 Long Distance Rangefinder

36.5"x6" diameter protective tube. 35.75" long rangefinder. Lot includes green painted brass protective tube with end plaque reading 80 cm a-instr/m/41/Nr 114/WILD HEERBRUGG F=12x. The case retains its leather fastening strap and buckle, along with a leather carrying strap. The coincidence rangefinder itself is painted green with brown body, and mounts two rubber eyepieces, a leather carrying strap, and a metal cover for the eyepieces with leather fastening strap. The rangefinder plaque matches the carrying case, and retains legible markings.

Condition Report

Very Good. The leather straps have some scuffs and abrasions but remain supple. The carrying case is dented along its length, with some chips and flaking of the paint. The rangefinder itself has some handling wear, mars, and abrasions, with some stains on the edges, and some patches of repaint. The leather fastening strap is supple.
