24 Union Army buttons arranged in a star pattern, housed in gilt frame, 22 1/2 x 16 1/2 in. Assembled and framed by James Frasca in the 1970s. The collection is comprised of examples of cuff and coat buttons for every branch of the Army including Infantry, Artillery, Cavalry, Rifleman, Dragoon, General Service, Staff Officer, Engineers, Sharpshooters, Topographical Engineers, and Ordinance Corps (all buttons have shanks and are non-dug).
