Lot Description

COLLINS, T.P., photographer. Patriotic Civil War CDV of brothers Oliver and Frederick Hutchinson with flag and eagle drum. Westfield, MA: [1860s]. 

Carte de visite featuring the Hutchinson brothers (light toning; light corner and edge wear to mount). Studio imprint on verso. The younger boy wears a child’s zouave uniform and holds a large American flag with flag pole. The older boy carries an eagle drum and holds the drumsticks at the ready. The brothers were members of the Hutchinson Family Singers, Tribe of Asa.
