3 x 1/2 in. delicately carved, 2-piece bone needle case made in the form of a grandfather clock (remnant of gold and red paint, bit of loss to lid and interior). Accompanied by the original museum tag in browned ink identifying the object as a “needle case,” along with tag numbers from the auction and provenance letter stating that the case was obtained at auction from the Lee Headquarters Museum.
