HALAS, George "Papa Bear" (1895-1983). Typed letter signed ("George Halas"), as Chairman of the Chicago Bears Football Club. Chicago, 7 December 1965. 1 page, 4to, on Chicago Bears Football Club letterhead, old light folds. Halas writes to Henry Bothfield to congratulate him on representing the Bears at the 1965 Punt, Pass, and Kick competition.
[With:] GRANGE, Harold E. "Red" (1903-1991). Zuppke of Illinois. Chicago: A.L. Glaser, 1937. 8vo. Frontispiece and plates. (Light toning.) Original blue cloth embossed with a football. FIRST EDITION, LIMITED EDITION, numbered 359 of 1000 copies. INSCRIBED BY GRANGE, dated 11 October 1937.
