Condition Report
Good as chemically cleaned. Bore is Frosty with strong rifling and pitting throughout. Metal finish overall has taken on a dull gray patina with mottling over the rear barrel and frame. The barrel, frame, and cylinder show scattered mars and indentations with some deformations over the rear face of the cylinder. Light pitting has formed over the forcing cone, and in places on the forward cylinder. Triggerguard retains a bright finish and fits roughly to the backstrap with the two joining off center. The gripstraps fit proud of the forward butt with cracks through both sides and signs of wastage on the lower edges. The face of the triggerguard has flaked down, exposing a crystalline grain structure. Action indexes but the cylinder stop fails to fully engage.
