Lot Description

Unused Pair of Bullion Infantry Lieutenant's Shoulder Straps

4.75" x 2" in overall size with triple gilt bullion boarder that is .5" wide with the three boarders measuring nominally .17" each. The central panel is medium blue velvet with moderate wear and the insignia is mounted to black wool broad cloth with buckram backing. Overall size with the extra mounting fabric is nominally 6" x 3.1".

Condition Report

Very good. Velvet with some light wear and discoloration with some minor loss to the nap. Black fabric with some mothing. Bullion with some gilt finish and a rich bronze patina.
