Die Stamped US Militia Officer's Belt Plate ca.1814-30 Duncan & Campbell #164
Silvered die stamped brass plate measuring 3" wide by 2.42" tall. 2.34" copper wire bar on rear with two moveable iron prongs and a .8" by .52" tongue. Face with a {Spread Winged American Eagle} over trophies of arms and surmounted by a ribbon reading E PLURIBUS UNUM and an arc of stars.

Fine. Crips detail and retaining some thinned silver wash.
