Lot of 4 Fraternal Organization Swords
1.) NRA U.S. M1840-style Sword - 33.5" blade. 39" overall. Slightly curved single edge blade with spear point and off-center fullers to both sides. Blade is etched with commemorative war motifs from American history to right side. Hilt is nickel plated with pierced guard, leather grip, 11-groove twisted wiring, and knuckle bow. Scabbard is leather with bright finished fittings.
2.) 20th Century Fraternal Organization Sword - 28" blade. 35.5" overall. Double edged spear point blade with central ridges to both sides. Blade is etched with floral scroll to both sides, Truck Sess. to left side, and WARD-STILSON Co./ANDERSON/-IND. to right side ricasso. Hilt has a half clamshell guard with patriotic motifs, D-shaped knuckle bow with cast floral motifs, and open beak eagle head pommel. Grip is leather with twisted wire wrapping. Scabbard is nickel plated and has filigree hanger mounts that appear to have a TK monogram and religious motifs.
3.) Knights of St. John, Toledo, OH. Fraternal Organization Sword - 31" blade. 38.5" overall. Double edged spear point blade with central ridges to both sides. Blade is etched with filigree, EAST TOLEDO COMOY No.173 KNIGHTS OF/ST. JOHN to right side of blade, and Elmer Flory to left side. Gilt is cast with patriotic and religious motifs, knight's head pommel, smooth wood grip painted black, and chain link knuckle bow. Scabbard is bright metal with mountings that show cast organization motifs and double hangers. Missing leather straps.
4.) 20th Century Brass Hilt Fraternal Organization Sword - 26" blade. 34.5" overall. Double edged spear point blade with central ridges to both sides. Blade is etched with filigree to both sides and M. Hielkemar to one side. Brass hilt has cast organization motifs, globe pommel, and leather grip with beaded wire wrapping. Scabbard is bright metal with cast brass mounts and double hangers.
