Lot Description

Lot of 3 Small Dirks, one Sterling

1.) Sterling Small Dirk - 4.5" blade. 7.5" overall. Single edged spear point blade with scroll engravings to ricassos and five sterling hallmarks. Grip appears to be mother of pearl with a carved tulip-style pommel.

2.) Joseph Allen & Sons Dirk - 4" blade. 8.25" overall. Double edged spear point blade with central ridges to both sides. Ricasso has Sheffield maker's marks. Item features a German silver crossguard and what appears to be a synthetic bone or ivory grip.

3.) J. Henckels Dirk - 4.5" blade. 10" overall. Double edged spear point blade with central ridges to both sides. Ricasso has Henckels and Solingen marks. Item has a silver crossguard with double quillons and grip that appears to be ebony or horn with carve clamshell-type pommel. Includes black leather sheath with bright metal fittings.
