The rear slide features the {Crossed Cannons} marking, and the triggerguard bow is double marked with the number 4. Left frame is stamped FJA for inspector Frank J. Atwood, an inspector who evaluated Remington Rand produced 1911A1 pistols. Comes with a post-war Colt manufactured slide with the left slide marked GOVERNMENT/MODEL COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBER .45 followed by the {Rampant Colt} logo in front of the cocking serrations. Comes with a single blued finish and unmarked magazine. The barrel is stamped P on the left lug. Grips feature the {Star K} marking on the interior of the right panel. Left panel is cast with an L marking.
