** Pre-War Mauser Banner K98 Rifle with Star of David Cartouche

8.15x46mm Mauser. 30" barrel length. SN: 120790. Blued metal finish. Walnut stock has a plain semi pistol grip and forearm with single barrel band. Bolt action rifle with adjustable tangent notch rear sight and blade front sight. Item features an internal box magazine, bayonet lug forend, and double sling swivels (rear loop is missing). Markings include commercial Mauser banner to receiver and imperial German proofs. Receiver has MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBENDORF AN marks on left side. Stock is marked with a circled Star of David cartouche with a B to center, on right side face of buttstock. There is also a rack number 4292 to bottom edge of stock along with several small B proofs.

Condition Report

Very good. Bore is bright. Finish is strong with some scattered light scratches. Forend band has some light finish losses. Wood stock is in good condition, with some scattered scratches and mars.
