Imperial German Cavalry Saber with two Mauser Bayonets
1.) Prussian Model 1849 pattern saber with metal scabbard. 29.8" blade length. 36" overall with scabbard and hilt. The blade features a 26" long fuller running from the ricasso, with wood grip scales and a screw on pommel nut. The scabbard features a single fixed carrying ring. Item features a gothic letter proof stamp on the back of the blade, with the left side of the guard struck with the unit marking G.A.F.E.45.
2.) Imperial German Model 1898 bayonet with leather scabbard. 20.5" blade length. 26.7" overall with scabbard and hilt. The left ricasso is stamped W.K & CIE/SOLINGEN, with inspection stamps on the back of the blade near the guard. The scabbard throat features unit mark reading 178.11.139., and mounts wood grip scales
3.) Imperial German Model 1898/05 Sawback bayonet with metal scabbard. 14.4" blade length. 20.4" overall with scabbard and hilt. The back of the blade shows Imperial German inspection stamps, with the left ricasso marked ALEX COPPEL/SOLINGEN. Grip scales are wood, with the scabbard composed of blued steel.
