Lot Description
Imperial German Cavalry Saber with two Mauser Bayonets
1.) Prussian Model 1849 pattern saber with metal scabbard. 29.8" blade length. 36" overall with scabbard and hilt. The blade features a 26" long fuller running from the ricasso, with wood grip scales and a screw on pommel nut. The scabbard features a single fixed carrying ring. Item features a gothic letter proof stamp on the back of the blade, with the left side of the guard struck with the unit marking G.A.F.E.45

2.) Imperial German Model 1898 bayonet with leather scabbard. 20.5" blade length. 26.7" overall with scabbard and hilt. The left ricasso is stamped W.K & CIE/SOLINGEN, with inspection stamps on the back of the blade near the guard. The scabbard throat features unit mark reading 178.11.139., and mounts wood grip scales

3.) Imperial German Model 1898/05 Sawback bayonet with metal scabbard. 14.4" blade length. 20.4" overall with scabbard and hilt. The back of the blade shows Imperial German inspection stamps, with the left ricasso marked ALEX COPPEL/SOLINGEN. Grip scales are wood, with the scabbard composed of blued steel.
Condition Report
1.) Good. Blade has been non professionally sharpened with a rough edge, and multiple bites and nicks along the edge. Remainder of the blade shows a bright polish with some spots of gray patina forming. Scabbard and hilt are primarily brown patina, with the grips showing some light dings and mars.

2.) Good. Blade is primarily bright with a crudely sharpened blade with chips and nicks along the edges, along with a gray patina. The guard and throat show a mottled brown patina. The grip scales are chipped and have handling mars. The leather scabbard has some abrasions, mars, and cracks.

3.) Good. Blade shows some small bites along the edge, with sharpening scratches, and mottled gray patina forming. The scabbard and hilt are a brown patina, while the grip scales have some light dents and abrasions.
