The Guinta family's 1522 edition of Roman architect Vitruvius's Ten Books of Architecture. This edition is a reprint of their edition of 1513, with newly set type and printed in italics. Published in a portable size, this work features 140 woodcut illustrations, reproduced in a reduced size, and sophistication, from the first illustrated edition of Vitruvius, published in 1511 by Giovanni Tacuino. Vitruvius's work is followed by Julius Frontinus's De aquaeductibus urbis Romae.
