Lot Description

[CIVIL WAR]. A group of 7 CDVs of Civil War-era children in uniform, comprising: 

Studio portraits of 7 different boys in military costume, some outfitted with realistic forage caps to complement their uniforms. Four with photographer's imprints to recto or verso: Bloomsburg, PA: Rosenstock; Ft. Wayne, IN: Benham (credit included in photograph); Detroit, MI: J.J. Bardwell; Philadelphia, PA: P.F. Cooper. 

Together, 7 CDVs, 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 in. or smaller on cardstock mounts. Condition generally good, with occasional spotting and corner/edge wear to mounts.
