Lot Description
Confederate patriotic lady's ditty bag with hand embroidery.
4 3/4 x 7 in. hand-embroidered drawstring ditty bag made of dress material and lined in doeskin (some wear to fabric and soiling/discoloration to embroidery and drawstrings). One side embroidered, "DIXIE" signifying the owner's allegiance to the Confederate cause; the other side embroidered with initials "EWC." Embroidered cross and vine patterns border the top of the bag. Drawstrings end in tassels.
