Lot Description
** Colt Single Action Army Converted to .22 Caliber
.22 LR. 7.5" barrel length. SN: 332990. Nickel plated refinish overall with replacement varnished walnut one piece grips, smokeless powder frame, and mounting fixed front blade and topstrap notch sights. Single-action loading gate revolver with smokeless powder frame and kidney shaped ejector rod head. Barrel address mark has been polished down in the refinish and reads weakly COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HART with the remainder obliterated. The left frame features the two-line patent marking followed by {Rampant Colt} logo. The triggerguard features Colt's VP monogram firing proof. The barrel and all six chambers have been sleeved to accept .22 caliber ammunition. Firing pin has been ground down and reshaped to engage the rimfire ammunition. Item comes in a black leatherette covered case with purple velvet liner. Included in the box is a business card for Lloyd's Custom Guns of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Condition Report
Good as Refinished. Bore is Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Metal components have shallow markings and rounded edges as a result of the refinish. Nickel refinish displays some discolorations on the muzzle, and a line of discoloration along the right flank of the barrel. Forward frame has some light pitting filled in by refinish. Cylinder has a continuous drag line through the refinish. Grips do not fit flush with the gripstraps leaving portions of both gripstraps fitting proud. Case has some tarnish to the brass hinges and latches in addition to some scattered scratches. Action of the revolver times and indexes correctly with slight wiggle to lockup.
